A DVI is one of the most in-demand technologies that are used for video interface.
It provides the best quality of visuals on the various display devices. Those manufacturers who deal with the products like video cards make the maximum use of a DVI cable. Almost all the cards that are manufactured today have a port for DVI cable attachment. It is not only used with high digital televisions, but also with the personal computers. Even they are compatible with many DVD players. The DVI cables are a better support for a faster and a higher quality image as compared to analog. It is so because it uses the digital format. In an analog supported device, the video card first produces a digital video signal. Then it is converted to analog.
As it reaches the monitor, it is converted back into a digital signal. This is quite a long and complicated process. The DVI cable does not have any analog option. And therefore, there is a direct connection between the two sources which results in the best quality of the displayed video. A DVI cable is a versatile integrated cable that can be used in digital as well as analog situation.
